Class Qualifications

Over the past two decades 6 of our students have achieved
the City and Guilds medal for excellence.

Here are some notes
from the 2000 winner Mr. André Burger.

• Continued emphasis on quality improvements and becoming world class manufacturers led to my enrollment for the certificate in quality assurance during 1999.

• My employer, Consol Glass Bellville, sponsored me for the course. I completed the course through Industrial Training and Quality Assurance over a 1 year period.

• The high quality of lecture material and relevant experience of the lecturers provided a very sound theoretical understanding of the subject matter. Experience obtained during 6 years in production and quality assurance in the glass industry  provided me with the required insight and understanding of practical quality related problems.

• This well balanced theoretical and practical knowledge together with a lot of hard work enabled me to achieve excellent results in the final exams.
