This course extends and develops the subject matter of Quality Techniques I.
Syllabus :

  • Probability
  • Discrete distribution
  • Continuous distributions
  • Sampling distributions
  • Confidence intervals
  • Significance testing
  • Contingency Tables
  • Basic Experimental Design
  • Analysis of variance
  • Factorial design
  • Some aspects of non-parametric methods
  • Sequential sampling plans BS6001(Mil Std 105E)
  • Variables sampling plans BS6002(Mil Std 414)
  • Cumulative sum control chart structure and interpretation
  • Reliability
  • Regression analyses and correlation

Duration:10 working days (two sessions of 5 days each).

Admission Requirements:Knowledge of elementary Mathematics is essential. (Applicants must previously have attended Quality Techniques I).
